"There’s a lot going on right now, in our country & in the world. Don’t be so busy & caught up with unimportant matters, that you neglect the important ones. My generation is a unique one, in that we’ve seen tremendous change in a very short amount of time. Old enough to have been there for some of the last “good old days,” and young enough, to still have a bead on life & current events/changes. Every one of us should be taking steps to prepare for harder days to come. Every day you have here is a gift. We’re all going to leave this place one day, & it usually isn’t at a place & time of our choosing. Choose love & kindness. Strive for victory, don’t settle in defeat. You’re called for a purpose, it’s real. If you’re here right now, know that- & try to live it each day.
If you’re far away from God, or maybe don’t even believe there is a God, I encourage you to do 1 thing: don’t ever stop seeking the truth, or looking for Him. We all struggle here. If you know someone who is a Christian, even they will struggle in their faith. More even. They will be tested, they’ll screw up, & be a hypocrite. We all are. So don't let anyone keep you from finding the truth for yourself. But if you’re looking for truth, you can pray in your heart, ask God if He’s listening, & to reveal Himself to you. You can speak honestly like a friend. Even if you look at the Bible as a book you don’t believe- if you’re wondering about God, about Jesus. Read the Bible… read it in a quiet corner, & be patient. Keep reading & see how your heart & mind, how you begin to notice a working in you & your Spirit. God is real folks, he sent his son Jesus, for our sake. Read the Gospels, read Acts, and Psalms and Proverbs. It’s the personal relationship with Him that he desires with us & that matters. The Lord is just & faithful. He weighs & searches the heart. He reads and knows your intention. The Bible talks a lot about life, on how to be a man & a woman. The Bible is a blueprint for humans, of how to live life the right way, & what happens when we do it differently; it tells us about who God is, about who Jesus is. Me? I’m just a sinner like you.
